Comfortable and Dressy Work Day

After my long day of errands yesterday and an enjoyable dinner party last night, I'm exhausted. Do you ever have days when you do not want to wear heels? This rarely happens to me, but today is one of those days. I decided to wear my flat, black booties with a comfortable yet dressy pair of faux suede pants from LeFleur, a denim shirt and vintage black cardigan from CAbi, as I sat on my closet floor looking at my clothes. Roll up your sweater sleeves so that your shirt peeks through, this is a way to show visual interest and to stay away from the granny sweater! Gold jewelry and a leopard print scarf complete the look. And yes, animal print is still a staple in every wardrobe, use it as a neutral, it really does go with everything. And it's okay to pair jewelry with a scarf! A longer necklace and big cocktail ring dress up an otherwise casual looking outfit.
